Description
Yoruba love stories by Olabode Ogunlana: The five stories in this book are all set in recent times. The lovers meet at school, study overseas and set up businesses. They are stories with a moral basis informed by faith and hark back to the traditions of Yoruba gods. In reality these stories could be set anywhere in Africa. The names of the characters and places are Yoruba but the context is broad. The situations, the minor tragedies, the struggles and the enormous power, joy and satisfaction of true love are all universal themes which will appeal to a wide reading public.
Olabode Ogunlana is a Chartered Insurance Practitioner.
